Sunshine Sunday is a monthly sensory-friendly event where children and families can explore the Museum with lights and sounds turned down. Sensory-adapted tools, special programs, and community resources will be right at your fingertips! ☀️

Join us at GCM to create endless memories with a junk journal made from recycled materials and craft supplies! Bring your journal back each week to add new pages, flair, and memories inspired by our creative lineup as you tell the story of your summer. 📔✨

We have some fun weekly themes to inspire your pages, like Super Heroes, Assemble!, Gamers Galore, and Pop Culture Craze. Plus, between the hands-on crafts, special guests, and exhibits, there’s always something new to do! 🎨✂️

TOMORROW Saturday, May 16 from 11am- 12pm! Come learn the moves, watch an epic performance, and hang out with the performers! Plus, over in our MakerSpace exhibit, we’re making custom light sticks and microphones so you can rock out in style!

This step-by-step pathway weaves together three connected programs to support families from the first months of life through the first day of school using play as a catalyst for early learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness.

As part of this journey, we are thrilled to introduce Play to Thrive, GCM’s newest and most innovative program designed specifically for first-time parents of newborns. It provides the support, community, and confidence families need during those vital early months. Funded By Lilly Endowment Inc.
