Tinker Studio LLC was founded in 2014 by a husband and wife team as a working artist’s studio. In the summer of 2016, their daughter joined the ranks and Tinker Studio evolved into a larger space, featuring more artist's and designer's work. Meet: verb \ˈmēt\

At Tinker Studio, we believe that making should be FUN. We are all makers. Tinker Studio doubles as a working artist’s studio, so don’t be surprised to see some making going on when you stop in! ✨ The day draws near, and we hope you can join us! ✨ Save the date: Friday, November 6, from 4-7 pm, for Tinker by Twilight!
This beloved tradition is one of our favorite days of the year.

Join us for a magical evening as we unveil our 2026 “Holiday Art & Artisan Market” for the first time.

It takes time to make this transformation happen, so we’ll be closed on 11/3, 11/4 & 11/5 (all day) and 11/6 (until 4pm) when we reveal Tinker Studio all dressed up in her Holiday Best!

Be among the first to shop our unique holiday decor and a huge selection of gift ideas (many made by our local artists and artisans) all while you enjoy a twinkling atmosphere of luminaria, festive sips and nibbles and creative gift-giving inspiration!

There’s nothing like Tinker by Twilight!

Our holiday art & artisan market will continue all season long, but shop the best selection early!

Colleen O’Rourke has been with Tinker Studio since before we officially even opened! Having met Mary Kay and Rick at an art fair they were all participating in, Colleen took the ultimate risk and committed to selling her beautiful sheet music collages at Tinker Studio when she learned that they were preparing to open this new gallery on Old Mission Peninsula in 2016.

Thank you, Colleen, for taking a leap of faith with us 10 years ago! We love your incredible work and the ethos behind it. Your collages are a creative anchor at Tinker Studio and will continue to be for hopefully many more years!

Local Old Mission Peninsula artist, Phil Wilson, and his functional porcelain pottery pieces have been in the mix at Tinker Studio since early days. His signature style and glazes make his work highly collectible and we love seeing our clients return again and again to add to their collections at home.

Tom Obrecht has been a part of Tinker Studio from very early on, first as a student in several art classes in different mediums and then as one of our talented local artists selling his lovely soft pastel paintings.
