Ignite Fire Rebuild Update No. 36.
Erika and I assemble 4 more of the 12 cabinets for the reception counter in the lobby. Another 4 next weekend.
We are making headway on the store front that will be for the Beer signs.
The Molina's store front got a fresh and brighter coat of paint.

Serrano's was a Clothing and Drygoods Store in Casa Grande AZ
Cook & Co Signmakers in Tucson refurbrished the sign and bent the neon.
The install started today at the Casa Grande Neon Sign Park. They go back tomorrow to button it up.
The lighting ceremony is 5:30pm Sept 2nd.

Ron reached out to us on the chance we were interested. Ron is a sign guy and saw the value
We generally don't persue signs out of town but the subject matter is just right. This rates up there with the neon Jesus Saves signs.
So... how to get it here.
I considered driving out to pick it up but I really don't have time for a Mad Max road trip.
Ron came to the rescue and got it crated and located shipper.
Watch for updates coming up.

We are at Ignite 10-4 today working. The gift kiosk is open Free Admission!

Another sign from what was The Grill in downtown Tucson has joined the Ignite collection. This actually dates to when it was called Stag Grill and you can see the ghost of the word Stag. It came down in 2011.
The neon is 4500 white pumped with neon and lights orange.
It had to be unbolted from a steel frame. The bolts were square heads and rusted. Probably been in place 70 plus years. Two bolts slowly came loose the last two succumbed to the grinder.
