In two weeks, we will be hosting Pita Wild C. and her “Son de Muertos” Linocut Exhibition at Arte de la Vida. Artists Reception and Opening on October 23, 6-8 pm and Artist workshop, “Print Your Celebration” on October 24th from 10-1. Men’s Pishalal hat from Chiapas. Normal worn during official town events and Holidays. Part of traje worn by men awarded the privlidge.
In January we are planning an exhibition of these hats to be on view at our shop. Kevin has been acquiring them since he opened doors 15 years ago. Can’t wait to show you all. All part of a new direction the shop will be taking in 2027. Our goal is to share collections from our archives and friends of the Arte.

What a blessing we received yesterday from the South. Lots of glorious rain in the old Pueblo and clearer blue skies today. It’s the final day of . 15 years of business birthday celebrations here at 37 North Tucson Boulevard. As with every day our Arte logo is hidden in the shop. On the final day of hiding the Arbol logo, the person who finds it receives a $50 gift certificate! We also are having a raffle for each paying customer starting today and every day until October 7th. Winner will receive contents seen in foto. One long out of print Arte de la Vida unisex XLarge tee shirt printed by CREAM Design & Print ; One copy of 2027 Tucson Calendar from RetroTrek ; One $15 gift certificate from our shop; One mini papel picado banner; One skully magnet, 3 stickers and One deck of our Loteria de Tucson card deck we printed as a fundraiser for Community Food Bank email subscribes can enter every day by replying to email.
