On this day in 1951, Jamie Oldakker was born. A Tulsa native and familiar face at The Church Studio, Jamie was a talented drummer who worked with The Gap Band, The Tractors, Eric Clapton, and many others. Today, his drum kit still serves as the house kit here at The Church, preserving a piece of Jamie’s legacy within these walls and giving the artists who come through the studio the opportunity to play on the very drums he once did.
