Working on a new sculpture for Columbus celebrating Wolf Ridge pioneers. Wolf Ridge is the high bank on the east side of the Scioto River bank where the core of downtown Columbus is now. When pioneers first settled there they are said to have displaced the wolf population. As construction activity revealed unmarked graves in that area years ago, bones were moved to Greenlawn Cemetery where the new bronze wolf sculpture will stand on a 16,000 pound bolder from Urbana. The life size wolf will face the downtown Wolf Ridge area. The small preliminary model is pictured below.
