Sun 🌞 is shining and it’s getting a little warm up here in VC! This little family of deer found some shade overlooking Chollar Mine - can you see them under the trees in the last picture? Creatures great and small love to visit 🤠

For the rest of us, when it heats up, we can always take advantage of those nice cool mine tunnels while we get a little history in!

Makes you think it might be a great weekend for a little trip up to Virginia City - warm weather, Nevada history, and fun for creatures great and small! 🤠

“Amazing tour led by Gary Buckley, a local legend in these parts. He was extremely knowledgeable and made history come to life with his stories. Every question we had, he knew the answer to. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learning about mining history and culture. Later that day at the Red Dog Saloon, we got to talking with the bartender, and she told us Gary’s nickname in town. Guess you’ll have to go there to find it out…all I’ll say is later when we were laughing about it and said it out loud, another local said, “you talking about Gary??”. Go get a tour of this mine and meet this man!”
