Last Sunday's 4th Sunday was visited by local history buffs and the Urban Sketchers Austin spent a couple hours doing their thing. We are so pleased with the results.

We are open Sunday, October, 26 2-5 pm

Our friendly docents conduct guided tours throughout the afternoon. They inform and discuss local history, and pioneer Mill life. Our visitor center and gift shop will also be open. We welcome the public to join us and learn about local history, and share stories.

This is our last Open House of the Season. We will reopen on the 4th Sunday of March 2026.

Anderson's Mill Memorial is open Sunday afternoon 2-5. Tour the Historic Mill and Pioneer Museum, visit with the local historians. Shop the FALL PLANT sale, members donate many old time favorite plants like blooming aloes, succulents, bromeliads. and Mary Peacocks banana plants. All are welcome, free admission.
This is the home of the Thomas Anderson family, it looked directly at the Mill on the other side of Cypress Creek. The twin chimneys were the last remnants of the site. Most of the useable material was reused by the county for road building, and locals for their homes. What little remains in Cypress Creek park is unmarked and neglected. Some think this retaining wall is still there.
