Artist Bio
Alice Elisabeth Waite is a classically trained fine artist with a BFA and a minor in Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Although oil portraiture has been a focal point in her artistic career, Alice also works in photography, jewelry, floral & graphic design. She is a curator & content creator. For the past several years Alice has concentrated on producing a collection which consists of portraits and figurative work interwoven with images of nature. Through her art, Alice analyzes themes such as The Gaze, The Feminine Principle and women’s relationship with nature. More recently Alice has been exploring floral design and hopes to grow, design, photograph and paint her works as part of a seed to canvas experience. Alice aspires to help her community through art, see the world, and through this exploration, continue to learn and to develop her collection of artwork.
