🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: PATTYSAUCES 🎨

This week's Artist Spotlight features PattySauces, a self-taught artist who has been creating art and street art for 10 years. Coming from a small town much like Waverly, PattySauces has built his artistic journey from the ground up, proving that where you come from doesn't have to limit where your creativity can take you.
🎨 Art Style & Inspiration:
PattySauces' style pulls from a mix of graffiti, street art, and illustrative realism without being tied to one particular category. His work is driven by bold colors, unexpected details, texture, and pieces that carry plenty of energy.
💭 What He Hopes He Art Evokes:
PattySauces hopes his work makes people pause in the middle of their everyday routine. The goal is to catch someone's attention long enough for them to stop, look, and have a conversation with themselves about what they're seeing and how it makes them feel or think, even if everyone walks away with a completely different interpretation.
🗣️ Something He Wants People to Know:
Coming from a small town and being completely self-taught has played a major role in PattySauces' journey. While people may see the art he creates today, they don't always see everything it took to get there. His message to others is simple: even if you don't come from a place with a lot of opportunities, you can still chase your passions. If you want it badly enough, you can create opportunities of your own.
Ways You Can Support:
PattySauces currently has an artist residency at the Saenger Theater and is always looking for new mural projects and creative collaborations. He especially enjoys working with local businesses to transform ordinary spaces into something people want to stop and look at.

🚨Adopt a Class Program 🚨

Teachers, the ones who invest their time, patience, energy, and often their own money into our children.

You’re the people who give them more than an education. You give them tools they’ll carry through life, confidence when they need it most, encouragement when things get hard, and a safe place to learn, grow, and discover who they can become.

We know that what you pour into your students extends far beyond the walls of your classroom, and we also know that a simple “thank you” could never fully express how much that means.

This school year, we’d love the opportunity to support you.
We are so excited to introduce our Adopt a Class program as a small way of giving back to the teachers who give so much to our children and our community.

This week's spotlight features Britt, an artist who has been creating art and street art since 2018. With a love for capturing people, friends, and nature through her work, Britt has found a special passion for portraiture.
🎨 Art Style & Inspiration:
Britt loves painting the human figure, her friends, and nature, but portraits will always be her favorite. She especially enjoys the challenge of capturing someone’s likeness and the process of mixing skin tones to bring each portrait to life.
💭 What She Hopes Her Art Evokes:
Britt hopes her work inspires others in the same way that seeing the work of other artists inspires her. More than anything, she hopes her art brings a little happiness to the people who see it.
