I’m going to be presenting a “masterclass lecture” as part of the October MAANZ Symposium (mosaic association of Australia and New Zealand) I’ll be describing and explaining the processes involved in making and installing large Architectural installations. You do not need to be attending the MAANZ Symposium to come to my presentation, it’s on a Saturday morning... could count as professional development for Architects, to book there is a link in my bio.

Call for Entries!

It’s the big one! Plant Empire invites entries to join our 2026 garden art exhibition which will run from 17 October to 22 November 2026 with the theme “Shadow & Light”. This exhibition will include both indoor and outdoor art displayed (you guessed it!) indoors and outdoors.

The deadline for concept entries (which need not be completed artworks) is Wednesday 30 September 2026 - see online for entry details (link in bio).

Thank you Topology and Trichotomy for last night’s concert, and everyone who attended - it was brilliant!!

Here’s a little grab from the sound check earlier in the day for your entertainment. I like to think of sound checks as my personal performance, which is just as well as this concert was sold out with no room left for the usherette. I put this in the nice-problem-to-have category.

Thank you also to Boyds-ThePianoShop for the beautiful grand piano that we get to enjoy in these performances - this baby (not actually a baby, but a grand, but let’s call it a baby) is available for purchase from Boyds.

And for our next trick, Nat Bartsch returns to Plant Empire on 22 November for her “Acceptance Does Not Mean Surrender” album launch. Tickets for this concert are available from plantempire.com.au (link in bio).
