🍃 On Friday 28 August, community members gathered at the Lilydale Yarning Circle or another On Country Yarns session, led by Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.

Through storytelling, cultural learning, and conversation on Country, participants explored cultural protocols, respectful engagement, language, history, and connections to place.

The next session will take place in September and will focus on Early Childhood Education.

The program supports cultural understanding, connection and reconciliation across the Yarra Ranges

Fragile Systems examines the space between the vulnerability of the natural world and its remarkable capacity for renewal. While fragility suggests a state of being easily damaged or destroyed, renewal speaks to rebuilding and reviving after devastation. Deeply interconnected, these two concepts sit at opposite ends of a shared spectrum, reminding us that all things fragile face the potential of destruction and the ability to begin again.
Featuring Marisa Avano, Jane Fizherbert, Ali Griffin & Laura Windmill

On Display until Sun 27 Sep
