Me deciding what to do these holidays

‘I wonder if, like, there’s any track days around’

1Raceway - ah, there is
Pheasant Wood - ah there is too - hang on…(checks date) day before 1raceway. Hmm.
Does Eastern Creek have anything?
(Checks) - wait - night before Pheasant Wood

UTBAHD Trip update

A few weeks ago at a trail running event I aggravated an old ankle injury. As a result all running events I had entered between now and March are in the process of being cancelled.

Which kinda sux. I was looking forward to being on the all new Spirit of Tasmania on New Years Eve on my way to the Cadbury Half Marathon….

So now that I find myself with a totally vacant Summer Holiday period the stage is set for the second UTBAHD trip to sunny QLD. Former dealer sites up the coast and inland are on the menu.

This means I’m probably not going to go to QLD in winter - which is fine. Was considering doing something at the Gold Coast Marathon, but with the way it’s being managed it’s just becoming a giant shakedown for potential entrants.

Also on the cards is a ‘best driving roads in SE Australia’ trip in the lead up to Christmas, brought to you by the BRZ…..

Happy to take suggestions on the latter.

Pic is what’s wrong with my foot/ankle.

Upgrade for the Gemini?

Could these be bought as a standalone item back in the day? Installation instructions suggest yes.

Won’t get to Jerilderie (lunch stop) on this tank, filled up here - with 95 (d’oh)

Was averaging 6.3 on 9.8. See what 95 does to fuel economy.

Totally ridiculous.

As a former smoker I never smoked a race car, nor did I ever buy a Marlboro branded Torana over the counter at Woolies. For that matter I never smoked the branded packet either…..
