SOFACQ Gallery is an exhibition space located near Ghent, in the historic factory where SOFACQ slippers were produced until the late 1970s. On the façade, it still says “Sofacq” in robust Art Deco lettering, short for Société de Fabrication de Chaussures de Qualité. Today, this stands for Société de Fabrication de Culture de Qualité. ​

SOFACQ Gallery primarily works with pieces from Collection R., the art collection of former food entrepreneur Peter Rodrigues. Additionally, artists whose work is already part of the collection are invited to create an exhibition in dialogue with the collection. In this way, we strive to continually present the collection to the public in a new light.

During our exhibitions SOFACQ Gallery can be booked for private viewings and guided tours.

We work together with selected partners for a subsequent walking dinner, networking event or a meeting room. Contact us via mail for more information.
