A drop-in time to catch up with neighbours. Come to look at old pictures of LaHave, enjoy a game of cards or backgammon, or bring along your knitting or a craft project.

Fort Point Museum is now open for the season!

Visit our National Historic Site at the mouth of the LaHave River to explore local history, exhibits, gardens, beach access, and upcoming events.

HOURS:
Tuesday to Sunday: 10am–5pm
Closed Mondays in June

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another season.

Fort Point Museum’s annual take-out Lobster Supper is back on Sunday, May 31! 🦞

Dinner includes 1.5 lb lobster with potato salad, coleslaw, bun, and carrot cake.

$35 per plate
$30 for members

This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and helps support the museum’s programs, events, and day-to-day operations.

Lunenburg County Historical Society's AGM will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 pm at Fort Point Museum.

This AGM covers the past six months as we transition to our new fiscal year schedule. Join us for a short update on recent work at the museum and to hear about plans for the 2026 summer season.
