Philip Grözinger — Manntje, Manntje, Timpe Te

🗓 Exhibition: 30 April – 20 June 2026
📍 68projects by KORNFELD Berlin

Inspired by the Grimm’s fairy tale The Fisherman and His Wife, transforms the gallery into an immersive world where paintings spill into objects, installations, and precarious scenes.

Figures balance between desire and collapse, while flowers, radios, ceramics, and microwaves drift through a surreal landscape charged with humor, tension, and quiet instability.

All of it circling around one lingering question: when is enough ever enough?

Philip Grözinger — Manntje, Manntje, Timpe Te

Opening: Thursday, 30 April 2026 | 6–9 pm
Exhibition: 30 April – 20 June 2026

Moving between painting and installation, transforms the space into an immersive environment where images extend into objects, and narratives unfold beyond the canvas.

Inspired by the Grimm’s fairy tale The Fisherman and His Wife, the exhibition traces the fragile line between desire and delusion. Figures balance, worlds tilt, and what promises fulfillment reveals itself as something more unstable.

A space where longing, illusion, and reality meet and where the question remains: what happens when everything we reach for slips away?

Final moments of Skin and Nerve 🦩
Closing Saturday, April 18

Suspended between technological immersion and material resistance, the exhibition by Sunjeong Hwang and Wonhae Hwang unfolds as a shifting encounter between image and surface.

Skin and Nerve
Sunjeong Hwang & Wonhae Hwang

Two practices moving in opposite directions
one from the surface inward, the other from the inside outward.

Between skin and nerve, the exhibition unfolds as a space where perception shifts, where what we see and what we sense begin to overlap.

Sunjeong Hwang takes us through an ecosystem of fragments 🌱

Tracing subtle rhythms between nature, bodies, and technology.
At its core is Tanhamu (탄하무), a living interface exploring how we sense, connect, and become within a more-than-human world.

A closer look into Skin and Nerve.

Through this walkthrough, we move beneath the surface into the layers, tensions, and invisible connections that shape the exhibition by Sunjeong Hwang and Wonhae Hwang.

Between what we see and what we feel, their works unfold like a body: skin as surface, nerve as signal constantly translating, sensing, responding.

An exhibition that asks you not only to look, but to stay with what moves underneath.

Wonhae Hwang ~ Skin and Nerve

In her work, approaches painting as a surface under tension.
Layers of glass, urban fragments, and screen-like textures build images that feel both constructed and unstable as if something is always shifting just beneath.

Her paintings don’t offer clarity. They hold it back, creating a space where perception slows down and begins to question itself.
