We open our doors in Paris tonight 📸 Evidence by Larry Sultan and Mike Mandel opens this evening at Zander Galerie Paris, 5–8pm. First exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 1977, this is one of the most radical and enduring works in the history of photography.

Drawn from over two million images sourced from corporate, government, and scientific archives across the United States, the fifty-six photographs on show are presented without captions or context. Removed from their original function, they oscillate between the documentary and the inexplicable, compelling viewers to construct meaning in the absence of any interpretive framework. A work that permanently altered how we think about images, authority, and truth.

📍 6 rue Jacob, Paris
🥂 Opening tonight, 29 May, 5–8pm
📆 On view through 26 June 2026

We are at 2026 presenting early photographs by Tom Wood — images made in the summer of 1975, just after he graduated from Leicester Polytechnic, and shown together in this form for the first time.

Working in and around North Evington, Leicester, Wood () photographed the communities immediately around him: children and mothers at a community centre, street portraits, backstage at a working men's club, and the atmosphere of a free music festival in Oxfordshire. Analogue black-and-white hand prints that already carry everything his work would become.

Coming up 🐎✨️ Opening Saturday, 30 May: Untold Stories, our first exhibition with American photographer Clark Winter, spanning nearly five decades of work made between 1970 and 2017.

Travelling continuously across Europe, Latin America, and the United States alongside a long career in international finance, Winter always had a camera to hand. Curiosity was his method; the world, his subject.

📆 On view 30 May – 21 August 2026 at Zander Galerie Cologne.

✨ We are pleased to share first views from inside The Long Goodbye, Christiane Baumgartner’s new exhibition at Zander Galerie Cologne.

Baumgartner’s monumental woodcuts translate fleeting video stills of horizons, seas, and fading light into intricately carved line structures. From afar, the works appear almost photographic; up close, they dissolve into rhythmic grids that reveal the slow, tactile process of their making. Moving between figuration and abstraction, the images reflect on time, perception, and the fragile space between stillness and uncertainty.

Among the highlights is the new Sunken Treasure series, where luminous tones of violet, green, and blue shimmer beneath the surface, subtly shifting with each unique impression.

On view through 22 May 2026. We warmly invite you to experience the exhibition in person 🌅🌊
