Ramble Art Club Ramble Art Club at St Lawrence C of E Primary School A fun and engaging art club, where children aged 7-11 years come together to explore different materials, techniques and get creative!

Title - Love Grows Everywhere 🫶

Inspired by the story ‘Love Grows Everywhere’ by Barry Timms & Tisha Lee, the children have worked together to create a collage.

Inspired by a lush, vibrant, botanical colour palette, our fledgling artists experimented with hand-printed and painted techniques to create tonal, textured surfaces.
The children made observational drawings of organic forms. Then, from their unique printed papers, they cut out the silhouettes and collaged them.

The key message of this piece focuses on the connection of how showing kindness within our neighbourhood is a metaphor for the care with which we nurture a seed: watering, feeding and giving it light.
- The care and kindness we show nurtures and reciprocates love contributing to a whole, multifaceted community.

Walery Siejtbatalow was born on 8 June 1965 in Denisovka, Kazakhstan. After a cervical spinal injury caused by jumping from a hill into a river, he has been confined to a wheelchair.

To cope with the loss of mobility, he began writing with a pen in his mouth and later taught himself to paint and draw the same way.

The VDMFK first awarded him a scholarship in 2012. Inspired by an illustrated children’s Bible, he began painting scenes of Christ and other biblical motifs. Over time his work expanded to include stained-glass imagery and portraits. He later took up oil painting; his
first oil work was an icon, followed by further award-winning icons. In recognition of his art, Archbishop Anthony visited him and bestowed a high religious order.

Walery has held numerous exhibitions that have been very well received.

Lettice Bowen is a 21-year-old autistic artist who draws inspiration from her life on a North Devon farm.

Surrounded by open fields, wildlife, and ponies, she has been sketching horses since she first picked up a pencil.

Her professional journey reached a new height in 2021 when she won a Silver Award at the Unique Art Awards , opening the door to an incredible illustration course at Central St Martins.

In 2022, her pastel portrait of a sheep named ‚Baa‘ earned her the Gold Award, a moment that proved to be a turning point for her career.
Empowered by this win, Lettice launched Lettice Bowen Art.

She is now a familiar face at the South Molton Pannier Market, where she shares her art with the local community. With her professional Unison Pastels in hand, she continues to create beautiful, heartfelt pieces that reflect her unique perspective on the world.
