Had a lovely jaunt around the RSPB Old Moor , the sun even showed its face . Saw dozens of different birds but none of the elusive Bittern . Plenty of inspiration for a painting or two. I would actually like to go back when it’s a little warmer and take my paints with me .

Trying out the alcohol inks on different subjects and now I’m going to get the oils out to mix it up even more. The oils make unusual marks on top of the inks but can also obscure some of the nicer marks …. Only one way to find out what will happen

Had a really lovely email from customers in America after they had their artwork framed that I sent last month . It is a painting of the woods where I spend a lot of my mornings and I enjoy seeing it change through the seasons and different weather . So thank you Dennis and Paul .
