We are deeply saddened to hear of Tina McComb’s passing. She was always there to support the community whenever she was called upon, and her contributions will be remembered with great appreciation. We are grateful to have known her. Rest in peace, Tina xx

To celebrate Trans+ History Week, we're reflecting back on some of our transgender guests on Queeritage podcasts and history months.

Today, we're reflecting on our time with Jennifer Clifford, AKA Yorkshire Lass, as she looks back on her time struggling with gender dysphoria and the historic transgender figures who helped her.

To hear more from Jennifer, check out our podcast, "Queeritage", where we go into the LGBTQIA+ history of Northern Ireland. Find it in the link in our bio.

This month as part of Le***an visibility week celebrations we had the pleasure of Sarah Jane Dalzell who is Northern Ireland's only rainbow celebrant. Chaired by Kirsty Comac this fascinating story from Sarah culminated in a trip down memory lane with our local le****ns who remembered the early days on the scene. Join us for an uplifting episode of history club and re-live the glory days when Le***ans ruled! Cara-Friend The Rainbow Project Here NI Belfast Trans Resource Centre

Many Voices. One History. We want to hear your story!
The LGBTQIA+ Heritage Project is inviting LGBTQIA+ people from across Northern Ireland and beyond to take part in a special Oral Histories Edition of our monthly History Club, live on Zoom.
This session is about real people sharing real experiences. Instead of one guest speaker, we’ll be welcoming 4 community members to share short pieces of their lived experience, memories, moments or reflections that help tell the story of LGBTQIA+ life, change, and community.
👥 Who do we want to talk this month?
You don’t need to be an academic or activist.
Got a story about living through change? Maybe about community spaces, campaigns or just everyday experiences that form part of our shared history? We'd love to hear your story.
This Month We're especially interested in hearing stories from le***an speakers to help celebrate Le***an Visibility Week!
🎤 What does taking part look like?
We'll have you speaking for 8-10 minutes over Zoom, with a facilitated, respectful Q&A afterwards.
🎥 Recording & care
The session will be recorded for our heritage archive. We’ll talk through consent and comfort options in advance, and no one is ever required to share more than they want to.
đź’¬Interested?
If you’d like to take part or just want to find out more by emailing [email protected].
