A Life in Art
Chinoiserie - Dad had to spell it out for me, it's a word that just keeps on going 🤣🤣.
Here is the official description: Chinoiserie is a European decorative style that originated in the 17th century and peaked in the 18th century, characterized by whimsical, romanticised, and imaginative interpretations of traditional Chinese and East Asian art.
Some of the new artwork that will be launched at our exhibition is in this style and they are really gorgeous, at least one will be coming home with me (Lynn 😁).
