Almonry Gift Shop Paper Fold Workshops

Join us from 2-3:30 pm on Saturday 11th July or 10-11:30am on Fri 17th July for our relaxed paper folding workshops. You will create 3 to 4 paper items (paper folded box, star, notebook and butterfly or heart) using your choice of our beautiful Cambridge Imprint paper (1 sheet of paper included)

The workshop is suitable for adults and age 10+ (adult supervision required for under 16’s)

£10 per person, booking essential as spaces are limited

With such a choice of lovely gifts and cards at The Almonry Gift Shop we thought we needed to add finish with some beautiful gift wrap! Pictured is a selection of our gorgeous Cambridge Imprint papers, all litho printed on thick matt ivory paper stock using hand mixed colours. Their original designs are hand stencilled and screen printed to create unique designs with a lively texture in a range of colours.

Due to the quality of the paper they are also brilliant for papercraft projects

The fully recycleable paper is available in single small sheets priced at £1.50 or large sheets at £3.00 in a range of different designs.

Wow! After years of surveys, reports and fundraising we're here! The scaffolding is complete and the works can begin in earnest. While it is sad to see this iconic Eveham landmark covered up, we know the very best craftspeople with a passion for historic buildings, repair and restoration are working to secure its future.

So this is it, although we've been closed for a while, this feels like a milestone! Enjoy this short reel and we can't wait to bring you news and updates as the work progresses.

None of this would be possible without funding from Arts Council England Museum Estate and Development Fund and from Historic England for funding the surveys and emergency works.

Don't forget you can still come and see us at the Almonry GIft Shop and TIC on Merstow Green.

The delicate fused glass Wild Meadow range from Vicarage Rose is available as reed diffusers, tealights, bud vases and a decorative asymetric wave ornament. Each unique piece is locally handcrafted in nearby Offenham.

Calling all local schools! This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a great event.

🌱 Calling All Evesham Schools – Don’t Miss This! 🌱

We’re inviting teachers and schools across Evesham to be part of something really special this September…

On Friday 18th September, the incredible The Happy Pear will be coming to Evesham to work directly with local schools as part of our Healthy Eating Festival!

This is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to:

✅ Discover fun, practical ways to eat more fruit and veg
✅ Learn about healthy, plant-based living
✅ Be inspired by energetic, engaging speakers who make food exciting

The session will take place at The Lenches Amphitheatre during the day, designed to be interactive, educational and genuinely inspiring. There is also a planned event in Market Square on Saturday 19th Sept, with details to follow soon.

We're recruiting!

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund we are embarking on the Development Phase of Re-Imagining the Almonry.

Re-Imagining The Almonry will bring about transformative change to this centuries old building. This National Lottery Heritage Fund project, alongside the concurrent Museum Estate Development Fund (MEND) funded Almonry Restoration Project, will not only secure the building’s future but will also see it saved for future generations resulting in its removal from the HARR. It will also see a re-Imagining of the visitor experience.
