Dear Friends. Always look on the bright side of life, see the funny side of putting your shoes on the wrong feet, putting both legs into the one trouser leg, or a shirt on back to front. Funny, but difficult to accept. Yes, I have had eye ops and laser treatment but things are getting worse.
I am now using arial 18 to try to write which makes it difficult to reduce to 14 and get the size of the article correct. Photos are most difficult to see, in fact they are really a blur, but the challenge of keeping writing my Tales, keeps me going and I am sure you will understand if I make mistakes.
It would seem that there will be very little sculpture or painting now, so if you have one, hang onto it. I suppose I should try to hold an exhibition of the work that I have amassed, but I was never one for holding such, the only one being the annual cancer show that has sadly now stopped. I look at or just remember the unbelievable pleasure that I had making the pieces or doing a painting and the further pleasure I got when someone else liked something. I was and am lucky.
I feel honoured and privileged to have so many taking an interest in my Tales and in my web site; thank you.
I continue to be torn between the history of the river and my art. I now realise how much I would like to have done, and should perhaps have done. I have to accept reality. I will continue to post work done and as I experiment with what I still try to do, I shall post that. Right now I cannot see to use a camera.
Look after yourselves and stay safe.
