Portraiture and figurative painting is so much more than a likeness of the subject. Good portraiture transports the viewer into the thoughts and feelings of both the subject and ourselves… there’s as much narrative in a portrait as any landscape.

We have 5 black, earth stone, ceramic heads by Sally Rickett in our Tronies exhibition.
