Heugh Battery Museum The Heugh Gun Battery Trust Ltd, is a charity set up to restore the only WWI battlefield in the UK Entrance is on a Pay What You Decide basis.

Opening hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10am until 4pm.

We spent an incredible day at Amazon NCL1 today talking about VE Day, the Bombardment of the Hartlepools and both World Wars.

We were made very welcome and were given a really interesting tour of the facility.

Thanks to all the staff who organised the event and those who took time out of their break to come and chat to us. We had a great day!
