We are a cooperative of 22 artists who run our own gallery in a cool and elegant small shop dramatically perched above the Goyt on High Street in New Mills - a much underestimated and characterful Peak District town. We formed in November 2012 and sell our work at affordable prices to stimulate the local community by providing a really first-rate outlet in the town centre and lots of creative opp
ortunities through workshops and special events. We seek to cover the costs of running the gallery through our own voluntary action. We staff the gallery ourselves, hang all the artwork and change the work on view every few weeks to fit the seasons. At the gallery you can find an amazing selection of artwork. In addition to colourful, modern representational paintings and cards, you’ll see contemporary jewellery, ceramics, stained glass, hand-made textiles to wear and for your home, hand-carved wood and art photography. Some of this is not available anywhere else: and certainly not at these prices! The Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm every day except Wednesdays and Sundays with a late night opening on Thursday's until 5:30pm.
