The month of May has officially landed ✨
…and she’s brought the legendary with her (as she absolutely should)

The Simpsons devotee, Guinness lover, and proud owner of the most gorgeous Irish dog we’ve ever met 🐾🍀 has joined our roster (Jesus Mary & Joseph thank you universe) and we’re fully obsessed.

Alex x TMT kicks off with “Lovers in the Parking Lot” — an original artwork crafted using 23ct yellow gold and 16ct white gold leaf.

In Alex’s own words:

“Lovers in the parking lot is an excellent pop song by Solange and speaks to my own youthful experiences of romantic galavanting — not in American parking lots but in good old British car parks.”

Solange. Simpsons. British car parks. 23ct Gold leaf. Irish dogs & Guinness. May has absolutely outdone itself already 😮‍🔥 Link as always in bio 👌

🚨NEW ARTIST ALERT 🚨💥 MEG FATHARLY 💥
As part of our Wonder Women season we are soooo excited to welcome the legendary Megan Fatharly aka to our roster — a British artist whose work feels like finding a note someone wrote just for you. ✨

Working with text, collage and hand-embossed tin, she captures the thoughts we all carry quietly — small phrases that hit you right in the chest the moment you see them.

Each piece is hand-embossed using traditional metalworking techniques, giving words a weight you can actually feel.

Her work has been stocked by the V&A, Fortnum & Mason and the Natural History Museum — and we’re soooo thrilled to have her here with us too.

This Mother’s Day, to coincide with our Wonder Women season, we’re thrilled to officially welcome two new female artists to our roster, both incredible artists & LGBT parents whose work is created in the midst of the joyful chaos that comes from raising kids💚😘) ✌️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

So please say a big hello to

Bursting with colour and energy, Elizabeth’s paintings exude a warmth and vibrancy. Based in St Leonards on Sea, Power’s work has a colour palette rich in coral pinks, forest greens, and cool blues. Drawing inspiration from colourists such as Matisse, Hockney, Milton Avery and Tal R, her loose and free abstraction takes this to the next level.

Power has been featured by the likes of British Vogue, The Royal Academy of Arts, Soho House and many more.

Elizabeth also co founded a collective of female artists called Babes In Arms who have come together through a shared experience of the inspiration and the difficulties that are attached to being an artist or creative whilst also trying to raise a child.

AND earning serious points over this way, Elizabeth is also a guitarist in 🔥 (swoons)

We are buzzing to have you on our roster ✌️🏳️‍🌈💚👌

First up say a big hello to Meg Tait who works under the pseudonym of Showpony

Inspired by a long-term fascination with words, fonts, fairgrounds, Show Pony creates illuminated artworks & fairground-inspired signs. Often embellished with gold and fitted with lightbulbs.

Alongside these are typographic prints, and painted cut-outs featuring icons of popular-culture.

Meg lives in St-Leonards-on-Sea with her wife and their two young sons and is part of a collective of female artists called Babes In Arms who have come together through a shared experience of the inspiration and the difficulties that are attached to being an artist or creative whilst also trying to raise a child.

We are buzzing to have .tait_showpony on our roster. What an awesome addition ✌️🏳️‍🌈💚👌

Meg is Q***r parents, incredible artists, and proof that the most powerful art comes straight from the heart (and the chaos that comes of raising kids)

Mother’s Day. I spent years avoiding it as I lost my own Mum in 2001 when I was just 23, far too young to know how to handle everything that would come along with that.

But then myself and El became Mum’s in 2017 (They Made This was also emerging) when Donnie burst onto the scene one January morning & while the day still brings sadness I also get to reclaim it as a parent & a Q***R one at that 🏳️‍🌈✌️

So today throughout the day keep yet eyes peeled as we are announce not one but TWO brand new artists both female & q***r MOTHERS ✌️🏳️‍🌈 joining our roster as part of our Wonder Women season ✌️ let’s gooooo 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

🚨NEW ARTIST ALERT 🚨
As part of our “Wonder Women” season here at They Made This we are thrilled has joined our merry band of artists 👌

Caitlin is a contemporary artist based in South Wales (one of our favourite places in the world - a tie with Ireland for SURE)

Caitlin’s work explores how pop culture imagery connects with emotion and memory, often beginning with collage which is then painted over using oil paint and aerosol.

The resulting work is a stunningly nostalgic vibe bringing a distance memory back to life.

We are hyped Caitlin has joined our roster, make sure to check out their work, link in bio 👆 and watch this space as we hatch some plans to develop some exclusive prints together soooonn 👀👀👌

Our ‘Wonder Women’ ALL FEMALE art show is now live at on our favourite day of the year INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY 😘✌️💃👌

We had the most glorious group of Women celebrating their friend baby shower there yesterday and it was the MOST PERFECT way to open the show.

A gathering of strong independent, fiercely loyal and funny friends all showing up to celebrate each other.

Just what International Women’s Day is all about. Celebrating the women in our lives.

We are so lucky, we have the most insanely talented female artists on our roster, the most loyal female customers and female entrepreneurs aka partners in crime who we get to do fun projects with.

We love you all so much our hearts are bursting.
HAPPY IWD 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
