And what a week it’s been.
💥Fell madly in love with a dog called Luca (first slide) wore matching a hat with his owner. Sweet baby Jesus I cannot cope.
💥Visitors from CORK CITY IRELAND ☘️(top place I’ve heard 👀) Seattle ✌️, New York City ( also pretty good apparently). 💥What else, oh big up to Ridgeway Rovers Football Club the football club we sponsor (ffs the best thing to do ever) who won 7-1 ✌️⚽️
💥 Our collab with Florence Winter Hill hit the store and is flying ✌️

October incoming 🚨💞
( WTF how on earth is it OCTOBER tomorrow 🫨🫨)

We got to say though this month is looking pretty good 💗

Our hand painting, Smiley loving, total legend Meg Tait aka Showpony has taken over our Pink Wall in Brighton and OH MY GOD it looks sooo good ✌️

Meg has transformed our pink wall with neon mirrored smileys, floating love balloons and enough colour, love, pride and joyful hand painted originals and editioned prints to brighten up our walls (and yours) forever ✌️

Artist, maker, working LGBTQIA mum and all-round creative powerhouse, Meg lives and works just down the road from our Brighton store in Hastings & St Leonards.

We signed Meg last spring as part of our Wonder Women series and you lot (and us) have absolutely LOVED her work ever since 😘

Smileys, originals, prints — you’ve been snapping them up since we signed Meg and weve absolutely LOVED to see it 🙂🐶

Meg’s brilliant Showpony smileys are all hand-painted and start at just £36 each 🙂

Original, artist-made work that doesn’t need an original-art price tag. Exactly how we like it.

Managed to spectacularly miss last week’s sunday night round up because i was too busy galavanting around Athens and completely forgot 😅🏅✌️

SO here’s a double whammy of lovely people, excellent art choices and general brighton shop goings-on from the last two weeks.

As always, so many awesome customers popped in — including a lovely couple celebrating their 10 year anniversary 💚 marking the occasion with an Adam & Dan ceramic (excellent anniversary present choices ✌️).

There were also several dogs, most notably Cookie, who took the ENTIRE store by storm yesterday and frankly stole the show.

Everyone was loving our new Meg Tait wall (a special dedicated post coming soon for that) & our live drawing session with abbie was feckin gorgeous too 😘

Thank you thank you to everyone who popped in, said hello , bought some art, brought their dogs and generally made the shop a very lovely place to be.

DON’T PANIC

Apparently quite a few of you were in the mood for this at the weekend 👀😅

Hardly surprising seeing as AI possibly destroying the human race in a decade 🫨🫨 was the no 1 topic of conversation in store this week.

As a result we could barely keep this hanging sign on the wall long enough to decide between panicking or not.

Alongside all the serious apocalyptic chat, lots of brilliant prints did find new homes and we got to meet a whole load of lovely people in the process.

Here are just a few of them and their VERY excellent choices.

Our Sunday evening round up coming right at ya.
A wonderfully busy couple of days in our Brighton store on Dukes Lane. Customers from as far away as Australia & Los Angeles to Germany and France came through our doors this week. So many prints heading back to their new homes 😘
