Delfina Foundation is pleased to announce a new open call for artists based in the United States and Canada whose practice centres on new media.

Generously supported by Lonti Ebers, this opportunity forms part of a new series of annual residencies in London for the next four years, delivered through separate open calls. This inaugural call is focused on new media artists.

🎉 We’re thrilled to launch !

Join us as we follow materials in motion—through the body, through time, and through the worlds they help shape.

is a new thematic programme exploring the intersections between fine art, craft, and design practices.

Bringing together nine international residents and four UK-based Associates — selected through a global open call that drew over 1,200 applications — the season focuses on practices rooted in making, from weaving and silversmithing to papercraft and collaborative processes.

🗓️ Over the next three months, we’ll have a vibrant season of free-to-attend public workshops, talks, and events, programmed in collaboration with our residents.

In partnership with The Charles Wallace India Trust () and The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation (), Delfina Foundation welcomes applications from contemporary visual artists from India for a residency in London.

📢 : Latin America, the Caribbean, and related diasporic communities living in the US.
 
In partnership with Jorge M. Pérez Collection and El Espacio 23 ( ), Delfina Foundation is pleased to announce a new residency initiative for Latin American and Caribbean artists based in the region or from related diasporic communities living in the United States. Two residencies are being offered through this year’s open call for Latin American and Caribbean artists who have been under-represented in Delfina’s recent activities (please read guidance notes regarding eligibility).
 
🗓️ The first residency will take place from 21 September to 13 December 2026, and the second will take place from 5 January to 25 March 2027. Two additional opportunities will be offered in 2027-28 through a second open call.

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS BASED IN EAST AFRICA

Delfina Foundation, with support from Delfina Foundation’s Network of Africa Patrons, welcomes applications from artists based in East Africa* for a twelve-week residency in London.

Applicants must be a citizen, or long-term resident, living and working in one of the following countries: British Indian Ocean Territory, Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, French Southern Territories, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mozambique, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

The selected applicant will be offered a residency covering the period 6 January to 27 March 2026.

Delfina Foundation, with support from our Network of Asia Pacific Patrons, welcomes applications from artists based in Southeast Asia for a twelve-week residency in London

Applicants must be a citizen, or long-term resident, living and working in one of the following countries: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR), Timor-Leste.

The selected applicant will be offered a residency covering the period from 6 January to 27 March 2026.
