People often ask me, “What does it mean to be an Inchbald School of Design graduate?”
For me, it means learning that great design is never about following trends—it’s about understanding people, architecture, proportion, light, colour, materials and, most importantly, how a space makes someone feel.
At Inchbald, you’re taught to think critically, solve problems creatively, and design with purpose. Every decision has a reason. Every detail matters.
That education has shaped my career as a designer, lecturer, art advisor and gallery owner. It taught me that exceptional interiors aren’t created by filling a room with beautiful things—they’re created through vision, restraint, and thoughtful curation.
Today, I bring that same philosophy to every client at Oil Art Advisory. Art isn’t the finishing touch; it’s an integral part of the design process from the very beginning.
An Inchbald education isn’t simply a qualification—it’s a way of thinking that stays with you for life.
