A quick update from Wheatcroft’s Wharf Café ☕

Please note that Wheatcroft’s Wharf Café will open at 10.30am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week while we have a new fire alarm system installed.

We look forward to welcoming you in for a hot drink and a bite to eat. Also keep an eye out for some delicious new autumn soups coming soon! 🍂☕

🌊 CELEBRATING THE DERWENT – WORLD RIVERS DAY 2026

Join us at Cromford Mills tomorrow, Sunday 27 September, 10am–3pm, to celebrate the River Derwent as part of World Rivers Day.

Discover more about the river, enjoy activities for all ages and have a go at river monitoring. 💧

☕ Café update: Unfortunately hot food will only be available after 12.30pm today. Arkwright’s cafe is serving sausage rolls, and Wheatcrofts Wharf Cafe is serving our tasty lunch menu. Teas, coffees, scones and cakes will be available all day as usual. Thank you for your understanding.
