The museum houses the largest public collections worldwide of locally made Linthorpe Art Pottery and designs by Dr Christopher Dresser, who worked for a time as Art Superintendent at the Linthorpe Pottery. The museum offers a g

reat range of permanent display galleries, and additional facilities such as a Victorian style tearoom on site, a museum shop selling exclusive Dresser merchandise, and an education suite. Entry to the museum permanent galleries is FREE and there is full disabled access throughout the building.

• The museum is located next to Albert Park and the Cenotaph on Linthorpe Road. Middlesbrough railway and bus stations are a 20minute walk away on a mostly level route.
