🎨 TUESDAY NIGHT PORTRAITURE 🎨

Join me this coming Tuesday evening in the downstairs hall of Barnabas arts house for a session of sketching from a lovely live portrait sitter!

All levels of ability and experience are welcome. Tutoring on hand as and when you need it!

Great chance to meet like minded arty folk, hone your drawing skills and grab yourself a cuppa!

All basic drawing materials, easels, drawing boards and paper are provided.

Class runs from 6-9PM, £20 drop in!

Why not join us at Barnabas Arts House at 11am on the last Wednesday of every month for a friendly FAN group meeting.

Established over 20 years ago, FAN (Friends and Neighbours) brings together people from all walks of life to share stories, listen, chat and make meaningful connections in a welcoming environment.

A brand new independent art space, ART ON THE EDGE, is opening this June in the heart of Newport — and applications are now open.

This highly visible, well-lit venue offers exciting opportunities for exhibitions, with space for artworks both on the gallery walls and in the large street-facing windows.

Artist residencies will also be considered, with packages available, including gallery hire, artist demonstrations, and accommodation.

Situated in a busy urban location close to the well-established sister venues Barnabas Arts House, Robins Lane Studios and The Phyllis Maud Performance Space, ART ON THE EDGE aims to become a vibrant new addition to Newport’s growing creative community.
