Happy Half Term! 🌞

The sun is shining and we're gearing up for loads of fun this week. With outdoor spaces to soak up some sun and plenty of cool spots in our historic hangars, this week is a great time to visit us.

-The story of the Bristol Freighter T170 (Launched offically last week - we are so excitied to share this HUGE project with you all!) ✈️

- Discover the Concorde sim (Live out your dreams as a Concorde captain in this experience)

- Visit the Dome Club Planetarium (To infinity and BEYOND! Explore the skies in Cockpit Command and reach the stars with immersive 360 degree planetarium shows* additional tickets required) 🚀

- Get crafty and try your hand at designing the Bristol Freighter's new livery.

What an incredible way to kick off 'The story of the Bristol Freighter T170'! 🛫

We would like to send a gigantic to everyone who’s been involved in marking the launch of our biggest-ever project and to our amazing , engineers and supporters helping to bring this remarkable aircraft’s story to life.

The first stages of the conservation are now underway and visitors can already see work taking place in our Conservation Workshop

Here's to the beginning of an extraordinary new chapter for Aerospace Bristol! ✈️

Today we officially launch the story of the Bristol Freighter T170 – our biggest-ever conservation project to conserve the only surviving Bristol Freighter in Europe.

Over the coming months, visitors will be able to watch this remarkable aircraft being carefully conserved by our dedicated team of volunteers, experts and former aerospace engineers, contributing thousands of hours to help preserve an important piece of Bristol’s aviation story.

Designed and built in Bristol, the Bristol Freighter played a vital role in post-war aviation and military transport around the world.

Come and see the first stages of the conservation work now underway at the museum.

This May Half Term, families have the chance to sit in the cockpit of the Concorde simulator and have a go at flying one of the world’s most famous aircraft!

For children (and grown-ups!) to try out their pilot skills.
