Soton Astrodome The planetarium shows consists of both guided tours of the constellations and current astronomy events which can be seen in the nightsky above England.

Join Dr Sadie Jones and her team on Mobile Planetarium school visits and cross-disciplinary projects like Aurora Art and Black Hole Poetry from the University of Southampton We also offer an award-winning show called 'We are Astronomers' which features the voice of David Tennant (Dr Who). The astrodome school visits are run by Astronomer Dr Sadie Jones and a team of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Astronomy students based at University of Southampton.

Was very happy to present 6 prizes today to my Top Attending students on optional astronomy module ‘Discovering our Universe’ 🏆🎉

Hannah, Sophie, India, Molly, Evan & Kavya all received a crotchet black hole 🕳️ & a signed copy of my children’s fiction book 📖

*next year the course will be called ‘Astronomy for Everyone’ - same module, new name - please advertise to continuing students as they could get a crotchet black hole next year!
