Meet people passionate about caring for the environment.

The Repair Café can save you money as well as saving stuff going in to landfill - what's not to like? They are at Bedwell Community Centre on the first Saturday of every month, 2-5pm but visiting us this Saturday.

Local resident Shaunak Samvatsar is an award-winning cartoonist, writer, graphic novelist and more. His current cartoon series "What on Earth!" in collaboration with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) explores the intersection of science, policy and environment. See his work on display. Thanks Shaunak for reaching out and sharing your work.

Take time to do some mindful colouring, taste some vegan treats, brush up your sewing skills and make a kit to take home and tackle all those annoying little sewing jobs.

Meet artist Sally Taylor

Sally is a textile designer and illustrator whose work blends realism with expressive, abstract backgrounds. Her practice has evolved from children’s book illustration focused on endangered animals to striking acrylic paintings on canvas.

You can find Sally’s work in the Stevenage Museum shop, alongside several galleries and creative spaces across Hertfordshire.
