Every day, as I sit at the potter’s wheel, I am reminded of the profound challenges of moulding oneself. Just as clay is shaped by the hands that work it, we too are shaped by our experiences—our triumphs, our struggles, and even our scars. Life moulds our emotions, our character, and even our physical being. I often reflect on the verse, "I am the potter, you are the clay" (Isaiah 64:8, Jeremiah 18:1-6), and I marvel at the patience it must take to shape each of us. Yet, in the eyes of the Potter, every creation—blemishes and all—is perfect. I am deeply grateful for my journey, for every challenge and joy that has refined me. Like clay in skilled hands, I have been shaped by life’s trials, and through it all, I have discovered my true self, moulded with purpose and grace.
