My evening routine at the moment is to take my coffee and sit in the greenhouse and have a chat with my tomatoes as I water them. This is Tom. He’s my favourite and a very good listener. Hopefully the start of a fruitful relationship 🤣🍅🍅

Inspired by my new neighbour and sketching guru Art by Malcolm Davies I decided to give it a go during a lovely sunny afternoon in the studio. The view from the window... most enjoyable pastime, hoping to ink and watercolour it today. Who knows - more may follow 🙄

Walking About - I've been faffing around with this for ages and have redone the sketch several times in an attempt to get the perspective right so it fits alongside Bobbing About. My challenge now is to get it finished so I've had to set myself a deadline - it will be done by Friday... maybe 🙄 🤞

My theme for the summer is Oot and Aboot.
First up is 'Bobbing Aboot' ... inspired by all the local swimmers who just love, well, bobbing about in the sea and the lochs.
It's a bit out there 😁 but surely that's what summer is all about, getting out there.
Have I lost my mind? Quite possibly but who cares, it's pretty! 🤣

Lovely to see people enjoying a print I designed a while ago for a friend that owns The Boat Shop Bottom Lock at Braunston Marina. I used to walk our dogs for miles along the towpaths - peaceful green corridors that are such an incredible reminder of our industrial heritage. Really must get round to doing more.
