Brisa Noronha’s work is a silent choreography between strength and collapse. She treats clay not as a tool, but as a living skin that remembers every touch, capturing the ghost of a gesture in the stillness of porcelain.
Her research feels like an invitation to witness the weight of the ephemeral. By weaving rigid brass with brittle ceramic, she creates "skeletons" for ideas—structures that seem to breathe, yet appear as though they might crumble if looked at too closely. It is a study of negotiated balance, where the hardness of the material constantly battles its own urge to break, mirroring the delicate resilience of the human body.

Brisa Noronha (1990, Belo Horizonte, BR) works with various media such as drawing, painting, photography, video, ceramics, and porcelain.
Her research revolves around the active participation of materials throughout the creative process, focusing on the paths, limits, and instabilities defined by the interaction with each material. Her works are tied to the investigation of practice, resulting from experiments that bring together intentional action and the unexpected, order and spontaneity.

She holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from

LAST DAY!
AFTERWORK 5 | Luca Federico Ferrero Open Studio

Luca Federico Ferrero explores the ambiguities of representation and the gap between reality and simulation. His works emerge from minimal interventions or from the transformation of existing materials into visual devices that balance irony and estrangement.
Through a sculptural and installation-based language, he creates environments that appear familiar yet reveal a subtle artifice, challenging our relationship with authenticity and collective imagination.
His practice plays with conceptual short-circuits: between natural and artificial, form and function, surface and structure.
Each work is a visual paradox that goes beyond mere representation, interrogating what it presents.

LAST WEEK!
Afterwork 5 | Luca Federico Ferrero Open Studio 📌 Société Interludio
Until Sunday 15 March, 2026

'Bordo Mare' transforms industrial materials into an image of the sea, evoking vast landscapes contained within the domesticated language of swimming pools. The mosaic grid, recalling pixelation, dismantles and recomposes the image, suggesting an aesthetics of mediation. The work becomes a paradox: it circumscribes what is infinite, representing what cannot be possessed. In this tension between artifice and representation, it reflects the contemporary desire to inhabit a suspended reality, where fiction does not deny the real but renders it visible.
