Nest: Sanctuary of the Soul นิทรรศการเดี่ยวของ สกุล อินทกุล ศิลปินไทยที่เชี่ยวชาญในการจัดศิลปะดอกไม้สด ได้ก้าวสู่การสร้างสรรค์งานรูปแบบใหม่ของตัวเอง นำเสนอแก่นแท้ของชีวิตและความสงบนิ่ง ผ่านการใช้รูปทรงต่าง ๆ ของ ‘รัง’ ซึ่งเปรียบดั่งเช่น ‘แซงตัม’ (sanctum) สถานที่พักพิงอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่ถึงแม้ว่าดูเปราะบางแต่ไม่อาจมีอะไรมาล่วงล้ำได้ นิทรรศการนี้ชวนผู้ชมตระหนักรู้ไปถึงสิ่งที่อยู่ภายในจิตใต้สำนึกของมนุษย์ และนำไปสู่การพิจารณาตามประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับ

จาก “มาลัยไทย” สู่บทสนทนาของศิลปะร่วมสมัย 🌸

นิทรรศการเดี่ยวล่าสุดของ ‘สกุล อินทกุล’ ศิลปินนักจัดดอกไม้ชาวไทยผู้สร้างชื่อในระดับนานาชาติ NEST: SANCTUARY OF THE SOUL ที่กำลังจะเปิดขึ้น ณ La Lanta Fine Art ก้าวข้ามจากโลกของ floral art ไปสู่งานประติมากรรมและ installation art อย่างเต็มตัว ผ่านผลงานที่ใช้ “ดอกไม้” เป็นมากกว่าวัสดุแห่งความงาม กลายเป็นภาษาที่พูดถึงความสงบ จิตวิญญาณ ความเปราะบาง และสายสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์กับธรรมชาติ

ภายในนิทรรศการ ผู้ชมจะได้พบกับประติมากรรมบรอนซ์และเรซินที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากรูปทรงอินทรีย์ของธรรมชาติ งานบนกระดาษคูโซะจากญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงพื้นที่ installation art ที่ออกแบบให้ผู้ชมได้ “เข้าไปอยู่ภายในรัง” เพื่อสัมผัสความเงียบสงบและการพักใจท่ามกลางโลกที่หมุนเร็วขึ้นทุกวัน

เส้นทางของสกุลเองก็น่าสนใจไม่แพ้กัน จากอดีตวิศวกร ผู้ค้นพบความหลงใหลในดอกไม้ระหว่างทำงานบริษัทญี่ปุ่น สู่การเป็นศิลปินผู้เคยสร้างสรรค์งานให้บุคคลสำคัญระดับโลก รวมถึงก่อตั้ง “พิพิธภัณฑ์วัฒนธรรมดอกไม้” ที่ครั้งหนึ่งเคยเป็น hidden gem สำคัญของกรุงเทพฯ

ผลงานของเขาไม่เคยเป็นเพียง “การจัดดอกไม้” แต่คือการตีความวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย ความทรงจำ และภาวะภายในของมนุษย์ ผ่านกลีบดอกไม้ เส้นใย และโครงสร้างที่ละเอียดอ่อนอย่างน่าทึ่ง

In a world defined by relentless motion, Sakul’s solo exhibition offers a return to essence and stillness through an exploration of the “nest” as a universal metaphor for the inner sanctum—a space that is simultaneously fragile and protective. BeChanida narrates her reflections, recollections, and emotional experiences within the physical world of visual poetry— with myriad mediums, expressing that which cannot be put into words, learning about life and its complexities as much as art.

The subject of her art has expanded
from portraits to abstract paintings of emotions, composed of fragments of condensed impressions. Her journey from enthusiast to fully-fledged artist has led to several group and solo exhibitions—and a chance for quiet conversations between painter and viewer, facilitated by feelings and thoughts that transpire from spontaneous self-expression and conceptual narratives.

Congratulations, Kusofiyah Nibuesa, Sita Inyai and Thanistha Nunthapojn!

Their works are on view in “Living in an Elastic Time”, curated by Gridthiya Gaweewong and Angkrit Ajchariyasophon, a selective restaging of the Cheongju Craft Biennale 2025 that extends its examination of “craft as a form of social practice”.

These three Thai contemporary artists have previously exhibited at La Lanta Fine Art. Nibuesa, who lives and works in Pattani, conjures up vignettes of daily life in her multicultural hometown in intricate paper relief sculptures. Inyai’s practice is characterized by unexpected pairings of material and technique— organic forms fashioned by crocheting, knitting, tying, binding and weaving metal and silk yarn— while Nunthapojn explores the “afterlife” of broken pottery by cross-pollinating “kintsugi” and Thai heritage craftsmanship.

เมื่อศิลปินยอมจำนนกับการแสวงหา ค่อยๆละทิ้งความหวังที่จะบรรลุและปล่อยวางคำตอบที่หลงทาง ดึงความรู้สึกกลับมาตั้งมั่นกับปัจจุบันอย่างเบิกบานใจ ผลงานชุดนี้เป็นทั้งพยานและหลักฐานแห่งการรับรู้อย่างเข้มข้นถึง “ทุกสิ่งที่ล้วนผ่านมาแล้วก็ผ่านไป” ผืนผ้าใบบันทึกการเคลื่อนไหวของความคิด อารมณ์ และการรับรู้จากประสาทสัมผัสที่ไหลผ่านเธออย่างต่อเนื่องในทุกชั่วขณะ จากชื่อผลงานเช่น Before Sunrise สะท้อนเงาของสื่งที่อยู่ระหว่างการแปรผัน ความเป็นนามธรรมแสดงให้เห็นถึงมิติของสิ่งที่ไม่อาจจับต้องได้และหายวับไป แต่กลับสัมผัสได้ผ่านห้วงอารมณ์และความรู้สึก

ในนิทรรศการ Freedom in Space ศิลปินได้ใช้แก่นแท้เป็นตัวนำทาง เธอแสวงหาวิธีการบันทึกความรู้สึกที่ได้สัมผัสท่ามกลางการแปรผันอย่างต่อเนื่อง “ปล่อยสิ่งที่ไม่จำเป็นออกไป และคงเหลือไว้เพียงสิ่งที่สำคัญ” งานชุดนี้สะท้อนถึงอิสรภาพที่รอคอยเธออยู่ในปัจจุบัน ผ่านลายเส้นและสีที่เรียบง่าย ในกระบวนการทำงานของเธอ มีบางสิ่งที่สะท้อนแนวคิดของ Paul Klee ผู้พูดถึงความพิเศษของศิลปินที่สามารถมองเลยภาพที่เห็น สัมผัสถึงสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นรูปเป็นร่าง ราวกับว่าในทุกขณะของการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน “ดวงตาข้างหนึ่งมอง อีกข้างหนึ่งรับรู้อารมณ์”

BeChanida’s new series of abstract paintings show the essential question of her art practice– “what is freedom, really”– reconfigured by a new ethos– “it’s being present”, “no longer needing to search at all.
