Adrian Center for the Arts

Adrian Center for the Arts A community-based art center founded by local artists & teachers to further arts education for all ages in Lenawee County & Southern Michigan.

The ACA houses an arts community designed to reach and serve all of Lenawee County, not just the City of Adrian. We strive to create an environment in which to nurture all levels of arts education from novice to master. ACA supports many types of artists – students, hobbyists and professionals. We aspire to share our understanding and appreciation of the artistic process with the public, and to gr

ow and expand our own expertise. We not only teach classes, but offer after-school activities and facilitate community functions including the Empty Bowls fundraiser (benefitting our local Salvation Army), Enchanted Forest and Spring Fling. The LCVA and ACA seek members from all of Lenawee County in making Adrian the foremost location for the arts in our area.

We have opened up another week of CAMP. Kids Summer Camp August 3rd through the 7th.

9am til noon

Ages 6-11

It's the middle of the summer and the kids are getting bored. It’s time to spark their creativity and the best place to be is at the Adrian Center for the Arts. Throughout this week participants will be getting into all kinds of materials, from painting to constructing. We know every child is unique. We encourage them to express themselves and approach lessons from their own perspective.

Thank you to The Sigmund Foundation and Adrian Noon Rotary for sponsoring Art Together.

Art Together invites families to experience art in a new way through guided gallery visits and hands-on creative activities. For many participants, this may be their first experience visiting a professional art gallery. While some families regularly engage with the arts, others may find gallery spaces intimidating or unfamiliar. This program was intentionally created to ensure every family feels comfortable, welcomed, and inspired.

This FREE art experience is geared towards families with children 10 and under.

Did you know we offer welding classes? New classes will be released soon!

Have you heard about Raku Firings for clay? Raku firing is a rapid, dramatic ceramics technique where glazed, pre-bisqued pots are pulled from an kiln while glowing red-hot. They are immediately transferred to enclosed containers filled with combustibles (like sawdust or newspaper). This oxygen-starved environment creates unpredictable metallic lusters, vibrant colors, and smoky crackle patterns

We will be offering a series of Raku classes this fall.
