🚧 **Visitor Access Update**

Due to construction on Telfair Street, visitors cannot currently reach the Augusta Jewish Museum through the Telfair Street parking lot entrance.

Please enter the Municipal Building parking lot from 6th Street and cross the lot to access the museum. We have a few reserved spots in front of the museum.

The Augusta Jewish Museum and Jewish Community Center and Federation of Augusta invite you to a Yom HaShoah Holocaust Memorial Program honoring the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust.

The program will include memorial observances, music, and a presentation, “Childhood Interrupted: Holocaust Childhood – Wounds that Never Heal,”by Robert Ratonyi of the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust.

The Augusta Jewish Museum is proud to join the Georgia History Festival’s Super Museum Sunday on February 8, 2026. Enjoy FREE admission, guided tours, and a chance to explore Jewish history in the CSRA from 12–4 PM at our museum—featuring the oldest surviving synagogue building in Georgia (built in 1869).

We’re one of 130+ museums and historic sites across Georgia opening their doors for this statewide celebration of history, supported by SouthState Bank and The Coca-Cola Company.
