✨ ROSEN SCULPTURE SPOTLIGHT

Richard Herzog: “Alien Flower,” 2022

Through a 30-year international career focused largely on public art and outdoor installations, sculptor Richard Herzog utilizes manufactured materials to create provocative works that examine environmental themes, highlight humanity's disconnection from nature, and capture "the grit and grace of the contemporary South."

The 40th Martin and Doris Rosen Sculpture Walk is accessible along Rivers Street on the Appalachian State University campus until May 2027.

You can also access the exhibition by downloading the @ app and search “Turchin Center.”

These behind-the-scenes installation images really capture the spirit of "Asymmetrical."

Showcasing a combined century of creative practice by Karen Emenhiser-Harris () and Al Harris-Fernandez (), the exhibition weaves together their distinct approaches to abstract mark-making, tracing the warp and weft of a lifelong visual dialogue.

"Asymmetrical" opens this Friday in Hodges Gallery!
