The Children's Playhouse We've been providing children from birth to age eight with indoor and outdoor enriching educational play since 2002.

**As of August 17, 2021, The Playhouse is open with appointments and covid safety precautions including masks for ages 2 and up required. Register for play slot at goplayhouse.org**

The Children's Playhouse is a 501c.3 nonprofit established in November 2002. Our mission is to provide children from birth to age eight with an enriching, educational play environment while at the same time offering

their parents and caregivers friendly support in the important job of raising children. We serve as an informal “town square” for the High Country: a place where natives and newcomers, out-of-towners and locals, experienced parents and eager first-timers, and people of all classes are brought together to share the joy of playful learning with their children. Stimulating arts– and science-based programs, enticing play areas, and exhibits, and informative parenting resources all support this mission.

Join us for our new class, Boogie and Bond, starting Tomorrow, May 28th at 10:00 AM and continuing the second and fourth Thursday of each month through July! This playful class is designed for babies and their grownups to experience music, movement, and connection together. Babywearing is encouraged, early walkers are welcome to explore alongside their grownup, and older siblings can join the fun too. Come ready to dance, laugh, play, and make sweet memories together 💛

Boogie and Bond is led by Catharine Milner, who brings more than 20 years of dance teaching experience for all ages. With a mix of music, movement, and silliness, Catharine creates a joyful space that helps little ones and their grownups bond while building a lifelong love for the arts!

Today we asked parents: “How do you find time for yourself while focused on parenting?” and their answers were so real, honest, and relatable. From yoga and sleep to coffee runs, date nights, and quiet moments alone, it’s a reminder that taking care of yourself matters too. ✨

Parenting is a full-time job, and this community is here to support the amazing caregivers doing it every day. 🫶

Tomorrow, May 8th, join us for Seeds & Sprouts at The Children’s Playhouse from 10:00–11:00 AM! Little learners will get hands on transplanting marigolds with our Master Gardeners while learning all about the different parts of a plant. 🌼🪴
