We’re excited to introduce our NEW Summer 2–3 Week Glass Extended Workshops at the Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio!

Spend your Thursday evenings getting creative in the glass studio with these fun, relaxed, multi-week fused glass workshops designed for ages 16+ and all experience levels — from complete beginners to advanced students.

Students will learn techniques such as cutting, layering, and assembling colorful glass while creating beautiful functional and decorative pieces perfect for your home, gifts, or entertaining.

SIGN UP soon! Create Your Own Clay Peony inspired by Brucemore’s breathtaking heirloom peony gardens!

This brand-new workshop is a special tribute to the historic peonies that have bloomed on the Brucemore grounds for generations. Spend an afternoon surrounded by the beauty of the gardens while learning to sculpt your own stunning wall-hanging peony from clay. Layer, shape, and form delicate petals into a one-of-a-kind flower that will be professionally fired and glazed after the workshop.

We are especially excited to feature instructor Bonnie Grebner, whose exquisite ceramic flowers are beloved for their lifelike detail and artistry. Bonnie’s passion for sculpting blooms shines through in every piece she creates, and she’ll guide participants through techniques for building gorgeous, dimensional petals inspired directly by Brucemore’s iconic peonies.

Perfect for beginners, flower lovers, and anyone wanting to try something creative and truly unique!
