The 2026 NAACP Cinematic Shorts Competition, in partnership with Adobe, will take place during the 117th from July 16-22.

This exciting competition will give SIX filmmakers the opportunity to produce a short film addressing issues of social justice.

The winning filmmakers will each be awarded a $10K budget to produce a short film in conjunction with the NAACP Hollywood Bureau and NAACP+ Studios.

ROMAC is calling all singers, poets, dancers, musicians, rappers, and performers ages 12–24 to audition for our Young, Talented & Gifted Talent Showcase this spring.

Auditions are March 7 from 10AM–1PM at House of Joy Ministries, 3220 Central Parkway. Whether it’s your child, student, or someone in your community, this is their moment to shine. ✨✨

Now that the holidays are behind us, we’re back—and stepping into 2026 with gratitude and vision.

Thank you to everyone who closed out 2025 with us at our Kwanzaa Celebration. Being in community, honoring culture, and sharing space together is what ROMAC is all about.

As we move into this new year, we’re excited for what’s ahead—more art, more opportunities, and more ways to join the movement.
