The Clifton Arts Center Gallery and Studio are housed in two renovated barns of the former U.S. The Clifton Arts Center is a municipally operated facility.

Animal Quarantine Station, now the grounds of Clifton Municipal Complex. The brick barns were built in the early twentieth century and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They have been joined together by a modern, airy atrium to create a unique venue for the exhibition of the visual arts. The Clifton Municipal Complex is already host to a sculpture garden containing the works of more than 30 contemporary sculptures, and the opening of the Arts Center in January 2000 has given the City of Clifton the distinction of being one of the most arts-friendly municipalities in the Northeast. The Clifton Arts Center is located in the 26-acre Clifton Municipal Complex, Clifton Avenue and Van Houten Avenue. On entering the complex, go to Well Road and go up the hill; the Arts Center is located next to the Artesian well. The Clifton Arts Center and Sculpture Park in association with the City of Clifton Public Library seeks to preserve, enhance, interpret, and extend the reach of its programs for the benefit and well-being of citizens. A $3 admission entrance fee is required to view the exhibits for non-members. Please Note: The Arts Center is closed to the public on Legal Holidays and/or when the exhibits are being installed.

🎶 Music Is in the Air at the Clifton Arts Center! 🎹
We continue to celebrate Arts & Humanities Month with music, creativity, and community!

Recently, we wrapped up our weekly Music Together classes, bringing young children and their families together through the joy of music. 🎵 Enjoy a few photo highlights from these wonderful sessions!

Now, join us this Sunday, October 18th, at 4:00 PM as we share the gift of music with the community through a special free classical music performance!

🌟 Featuring internationally acclaimed pianist and pedagogue Jihea Hong-Park, a Clifton High School alumna, who returns to City of Clifton with four of her award-winning students from Brigham Young University for an exceptional piano performance.

🍂 Fall Pressed Flower Lantern Workshop at Clifton Arts Center! 🌼🏮

Join us on this Saturday, October 17th, from 1–3 PM for a beautiful, hands-on art workshop for families with children ages 7 and up, plus adults!

✨ Instructor Chrissa Van Duffelen will guide you through the art of decorating with pressed flowers as you create your very own lantern featuring the warm colors and beauty of fall. See sample.
🍁 All supplies and instruction are included! 🏮 Each registration includes one battery-operated lantern to decorate and take home.

From our Creepy Crawlers & More class creating festive ornaments, to CHS World History students visiting for an engaging art scavenger hunt, to welcoming senior citizens from our local Mira Vie community and connecting through our Senior BBQ outreach, there’s been something special happening at every turn! 🖼️🎃🤝

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Wood Vibrations — Owen Davitt, Owen Davitt Music Matthew Schmidt, Matthew Weger, and Maggie Fatsis — for an inspiring evening of contemporary chamber music celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the American landscape as we honor the nation’s 250th anniversary.

🌙✨ What a beautiful afternoon at the Clifton Arts Center! ✨
More than 200 visitors joined us this past Saturday for our reception celebrating Moonlit Memories: Night Visions of America at 250 — an afternoon filled with art, community, conversation, and celebration!

A special thank you to Lisa D’Amico, D'Amico - Artist Curator of the Rockefeller Gallery at Rockefeller State Park Preserve, and to the wonderful volunteers and staff from both the Rockefeller Gallery and Clifton Arts Center Gallery for helping make this exhibition possible.

❤️We are also grateful to our community leaders for their continued support of the arts and for joining us for this special celebration.
