One year ago today the foundation and floor were poured at 101 Magic Lane. So much has happened since… but this is still one of my favorite days on the project! And one of my favorite videos!

It’s amazing how drywall really makes rooms take shape! I can’t wait to see some great magic on this big stage! 😊

Seeing the drywall come in and go up in a space is like filling in the lines of a coloring book. It’s turning rough sketches into rooms!

For a brief time yesterday we hit an appropriate number of followers for the area! 816 is the area code for our phone numbers here in St Joseph!

Thanks RJ Jackson for pointing it out … and for the screen cap!

The Red Door Diaries???

Here's a story about the doors you'll see when you first step in to 101 Magic Lane.

This was a beast to unload! When Bill Smith builds something, he builds it to last! We got these from Danny Witkowski's MagicCom building in Minneapolis... so proud to have them in our museum!

Trivia question for magicians: What magician called these "The Celestial Spinning Rings" on television?

Andre Kole was without a doubt one of the most creative minds in the world of Magic. He invented literally thousands of tricks and illusions. Here’s a picture of one of his iconic illusions that we’ve just moved to the new museum. Who knows what it is?

Thanks for the great piece from News-Press NOW.

COUNTRY CLUB VILLAGE, Mo. (News-Press NOW) — Call them magicians or illusionists, David Sandy and Lance Rich are pulling off their biggest trick yet: bringing a magic museum and performance

One year ago today we broke ground on our little endeavor. 365 days later, the sawdust is still flying as we head into the most ‘magical’ stretch yet.

Funniest thing this weekend as we moved some magic props into the building…

Blink sends a notification to report some ‘Unusual Activity’ and summarizes that ‘two people are moving a cannon in the garage’.

Blink is right. Two people were moving one of Andre Kole’s cannons. If it weren’t a magic museum that might be unusual activity, but here it’s just a normal Friday.
