This free event takes place on the second Friday night of each month, typically from 6-9 PM, although hours vary depending upon the venue. Attendees can chat with featured artists, purchase work, and enjoy other activities such as live music, performances, and complimentary wine and refreshments. y for the ArtAbout, but there are typically 10+ venues that display paintings, photography, ceramics, sculptures, jewelry, and more. Many of these venues are businesses who kindly invite artists to display their work in their space. Discover local and regional talent, new artistic styles, and unique creations while experiencing the vibrancy of downtown with friends. The ArtAbout Guide includes images and information about artists on view and is a great source for what’s happening in town for the whole month. The Guide is ready early the week of 2nd Friday and will be posted here. Printed copies are available at that time at most participating venues such as The Artery, Logos Books, and the Pence Gallery. As of November 2021, the 2nd Friday ArtAbout event is coordinated by the Pence Gallery. The ArtAbout is currently sponsored by Signature Sponsor Willowgrove & the Davis Downtown Business Association.
