June 3, 1899 – Falling Worms
"The tent caterpillars have carried Federal Hill. At W.H. McKee's the leaves cut from the trees are an inch and a half thick in the road, and wagons passing are so covered with falling worms as to necessitate brushing off before proceeding."
From the Delaware Republican newspaper.
An undated view of Delhi from Federal Hill is included.
