Beneath the Bark 🌳
In The Garden’s Loom, invites us to slow down and look closer. These woven photographs transform the surfaces of trees into intricate landscapes of texture, pattern, and memory. What might first appear abstract reveals itself as the living skin of American Elm, Chinese Lace Bark, and Mexican Plum—each carrying the marks of time, weather, growth, and resilience.
By photographing, printing, cutting, and hand-weaving her images on a loom, Christine blurs the line between photography, fiber art, and nature itself. The result is a meditation on the hidden beauty we pass every day—proof that even the roughest surfaces hold extraordinary stories.
